The Participant intends to take part in the tourist excursion on Mount Etna, accompanied by an authorized Volcanological Guide or Alpine Guide.
By registering for the excursion and accepting the clauses through the online form, the Participant declares that they have read, understood and accepted the following.
The Participant declares, under their own responsibility, that they are in good health, that they have no impediments to carrying out hiking activities taking place in volcanic environments, on routes that may also be uneven, characteristic of the area, and at varying altitudes.
The Participant also declares that they are equipped with gear that they personally consider suitable for the type of excursion they intend to undertake.
The Participant releases the authorized Volcanological Guide or Alpine Guide from any civil and criminal liability relating to and resulting from the assessment of the aforementioned physical fitness and the equipment used.
The Participant undertakes to behave, during the excursion, in accordance with the principles of legality and civility, and not to engage, under any circumstances, in conduct that may endanger their own safety or the safety of others.
The Participant undertakes to observe the behavioral instructions that will be provided by the authorized Volcanological Guide or Alpine Guide, as well as the technical decisions connected to safety requirements, including decisions regarding any changes to the route or duration of the excursion.
The Participant also undertakes not to take any initiatives that have not been shared with or authorized by the Guides.
The Participant releases the authorized Volcanological Guide or Alpine Guide from any civil and criminal liability, including strict liability, following injuries caused to themselves or to third parties, and illnesses occurring during the entire duration of the excursion, or resulting from the use of equipment.
The Participant also releases the authorized Volcanological Guide or Alpine Guide from any liability related to theft and/or damage to any personal belongings.
Pursuant to and for the purposes of Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, the Participant declares that they have carefully examined all the clauses contained in the above liability waiver declaration and specifically approves all the points listed from no. 1) to no. 3).
The personal data of the participants in the excursion are processed in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003.
Personal data are collected at the time of registration and are provided directly by the data subjects. Failure to provide personal data makes it impossible to accept the registration.
The data are processed in paper and electronic form by the Volcanological Guides of GUIDEETNASUD, for all requirements connected with the organization of the event and also in order to provide the authorities responsible for supervision and rescue with information about the participants.
With regard to any sensitive data contained therein, registered participants are required to expressly give their consent.
No communication, dissemination or transmission of sensitive data is envisaged.
